BARBENCH by Fugitive Glue Studio, Toronto, Canada
Designed as a multi-functional furniture set for the lobby of the Toronto Theatre Centre (TTC) that includes benches and a table component, allowing the venue flexibility for the time of day and the number of patrons. During the morning and afternoon periods the components are arranged as tables and benches for the café to function as a place to relax, meet friends, have a beverage and catch up to email.
During the scheduled performances the tables and benches flip up to become bar tops and barstools accommodating the patrons before, during and after the performances.
