I saw a young man in New York once wearing a T-Shirt that was older then he by a good thirty years. Probably the same one I gave to Salvation Army some years back. It was a vintage piece of clothing in a distinctive Height-Ashbury, Art Nouveau 60’s style, advertising a concert at Fillmore West in San Francisco with Jefferson Airplane and Jimi Hendrix as headliners.

Riffing on the idea, this became my digital version of what I might design today for a revival concert if Jefferson Airplane or Jimi, god bless his soul, were to ask for one.
